HAIR COLOR APPOINTMENT PREP GUIDE
-
1st Step: PREP
Come in with clean(ish) dry hair! Do not come into your color appointment with deep conditioners, oil treatments, heavy hair sprays, gels, olaplex treatments or extremely greasy hair, etc. Any of these can affect lightener or color from penetrating into hair properly, causing the hair not to lift as well or color not to take properly.
-
2nd Step: BE ON TIME
Arrive at your appointment on time. Due to high demand, we have a booking system that gives us the perfectly allotted time based on our personal speed. When you arrive more than 15 minutes late, this is taking up much of that time. As we try our hardest to accommodate everyone and understand things happen, we also take a lot of pride in our work and will never rush a service or not give a client our full attention.
-
3rd Step: CHOOSE THE RIGHT INSPO
Choose the right inspiration picture. Find inspo pictures that are realistic and resemble your texture, length, and include your natural root color. If your natural hair is dark brown, avoid showing inspiration of a dirty blonde natural color. Instead, find pictures of hair with your natural root if you don't plan on changing your base.

4th Step: YOUR HAIR HISTORY & REALISTIC RESULTS
Be realistic about your results, do you research babes! Box Dye is bad. Red & black color is hardest to remove and you CANNOT get from black to blonde in one session. The integrity of your hair is most important to us at Bellas - your hair goals will most likely take multiple sessions.
